Kawasaki Ninja 300 (Ex-showroom Bengaluru – Rs 3,70,940)
Kawasaki Ninja 300 motorcycle is a versatile bike that features the same thrilling power and character of the Ninja supersports that inspire it. With big-bike styling, a class-leading, shootout dominating engine that’s also a remarkably fuel-efficient package, this bike is the perfect choice for anyone looking for a fun ride.
The 296cc, liquid-cooled DOHC, 8-valve parallel twin is designed to outperform the competition, while still offering characteristics that helps make an engine feel friendly for the novice rider. Contributing to the confidence-inspiring feel of the Ninja 300 engine is a cylinder head design that takes full advantage of the main- and sub-throttle valves to deliver plenty of low- and mid-range power, as well as rubber engine mounting to reduce vibration.
The Ninja 300 is an “entry-level” bike that features major influence from its bigger Ninja supersport brothers. Dual headlamps, a stylish seat cowl, sleek, aerodynamic body panels, and a wide rear tire all come together to make the Ninja 300 a motorcycle embraced by new and experienced riders alike.
WHEELS AND TIRES
A quick glance at the wheels on the Ninja 300 and they’ll seem familiar. That’s because they were styled to be similar to the 10-spoke design found on the Ninja® ZX™-14R
ASSIST AND SLIPPER CLUTCH
For a novice, a sudden downshift at higher rpm can be challenging. But the Ninja 300 is equipped with an assist and slipper clutch that can help smooth out shifting. The assist uses rotational forces of the clutch hub and pressure plate to force the clutch together during acceleration so that fewer and lighter clutch springs can be used for a lighter feel at the lever. During sudden deceleration, the slipper function allows some clutch slippage to help prevent engine lock-up, stalling and rear-wheel hop so you can ride more confidently.

The Ninja 1000 ABS motorcycle thrills for miles with a 1,043cc liquid-cooled in-line four-cylinder engine that provides silky-smooth, linear power that can howl at high rpm. Selectable power modes allow you to dial back the power to about 70% of full power— with a milder response—to suit your riding situation, and combines with Kawasaki Traction Control for a wide range of riding characteristics.
KAWASAKI TRACTION CONTROL (KTRC)
This advanced traction control system features three different modes to fit rider preference and road conditions. Combining the best from the S-KTRC of the Ninja ZX™-10R with the KTRC settings from the Concours®14, the Ninja 1000 ABS’s KTRC offers a wide range of electronic support.
Freeway bumps and twisty canyons place very different demands on suspension, yet the Ninja 1000 ABS is a comfortable, sporty motorcycle that provides a supportive ride in both situations. A fully-adjustable 41mm inverted fork has stepless compression and rebound damping to keep the front wheel planted in turns and over bumps. In the rear, horizontal back-link rear suspension features a remote preload adjuster to facilitate quick changes for when you add a passenger or luggage to your ride.
Even with liter-class power and such a radical appearance, the Ninja 1000 ABS offers a pleasantly comfortable ride. An upright riding position is complemented by higher-mounted handlebars. Also, the rubber-topped pegs are lower, making the Ninja 1000 ABS a comfortable sportbike you can spend the day aboard enjoyably.
The windscreen of the 2015 Ninja 1000 ABS has three easily adjustable positions to choose from so you can fine tune your wind-protection easily — no tools required.

The Ninja 650 is powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, eight-valve fuelinjected parallel-twin engine that delivers such smooth and responsive performance at the low- to medium-rpm range, that it’s been used on race-winning flat track and Isle of Man TT motorcycles.
