India’s largest telecom operator Bharti Airtel has announced two new free voice calling packs at Rs 145 and 345 respectively in order to gain a footing over Reliance Jio.
The 145 packs gives customers 300MB of data alongside free national Airtel-to-Airtel calls and has a validity of 28 days. The more expensive Rs 345 pack gives 1GB of 4G data along with free local and national calls to any network in the country.
This move from Airtel comes hot on the heels of arch rival BSNL, which launched a Rs 149 plan recently with unlimited local and national voice calls.
Airtel, in a statement said “These two packs add to Airtel’s wide bouquet of innovative packs and plans for customers, offering them more flexibility:”.
